Rick Principato is a highly accomplished professional with a distinguished career. With a wealth of experience in the business world, he has held key positions at renowned companies, demonstrating his expertise and leadership. Rick’s professional journey started at Air Products and Chemicals, where he worked from 1980 to 1984. During this time, he held various positions in Financial Management and Marketing Management-Specialty Gases. Since 1985, he has been a pivotal part of Tower Products, Inc., a leading manufacturer of pressroom chemical products for the printing industry in Easton, PA. Notably, Rick has been serving as the President & CEO of the company since 1996 and in 2023 began serving as the company’s COO.
In addition to his corporate success, Rick is a dedicated community leader. He is a board member and the current President of the Easton Area Industrial Land Developers since 2018. He also serves as a board member of the Northampton Community College Foundation since 2018 and is a member of the Lehigh Valley Advisory Board of Fulton Bank since 2019. Rick’s commitment to community service has been recognized with awards like the 2003 Community Spirit Award from the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce and the 2019 Honorary Chairperson Award for the Children’s Home of Easton Golf Outing.

I’m here today with Rick Principato of Tower Products, LLC and we are sitting at printing united, the printing trade show in 2023 in Atlanta, Georgia, meeting old friends. And Rick and I have had discussions over the years and known him as a great businessman and great things have been happening at tower products since we last spoke. So how are you enjoying the show?
Rick: Oh, thank you, Susan, first of all for having me. Yeah, it’s actually a really well attended show. It’s not typically the show that tower products would exhibit at, but there are a lot of my customers here and a lot of new opportunities that we’re looking into. So I’ve had a good time walking the show and doing meetings yesterday and today, and I’m happy to sit down here today to do your podcast.
And you’re right, there’s been a lot of things that have been happening at tower products. Tower products was recently purchased by Cooper Watson LLC, and we are now one of 20 portfolio companies of the search fund accelerator, which is a private equity group that’s based in New Orleans. The new president and CEO of Tower is Rachel McGrath. She’s a very dynamic young lady.
