So, Amanda Armendariz is the editor and Ken Waddell is the publisher of Mailing Systems Technology magazine. So welcome to the podcast.

Amanda: Thank You!

Ken: Thank you very much.

Chris: I love the opportunity to sit sort of in a quiet corner of the floor and just talk to people that are actually, you know, boots on the ground, working with direct mail companies, creating the content and the events that you do and be able to share information, which ultimately is why you come to these shows in addition to making sales. So, I’d love to hear more about the magazine and, you know, some of the things that you do outside the magazine that help the industry.

Amanda: All right. Well, we have two publications here at the National Postal Form. So, we have mailing systems technology, and we have parcel mailing systems technology, as you might guess from the name, focuses on basically every aspect of the mail cycle. So, from, you know, address hygiene to postal service regulations, customer communication creation all the way through delivery. So basically, you’re involved with mail, you should probably be subscribing to us. We are a free subscription and then parcel focuses more on the shipping side of things. So, a lot of e-commerce supply chain challenges, you know, UPS, FedEx, regional carriers, that sort of thing. Ken, anything else?

Ken: Yeah, I mean, we the beginnings of the publications over 30 years ago, we were focused on really what’s going on in the mailing and shipping industry. So again, as a decision maker, if you’re looking at improving anything you’re doing in your mailing operation and production delivery, looking at your parcel supply chain and delivery areas. I mean, we are the go to media to really help you get the information solutions you need to make the improvements you need. So we hear a lot out there what’s going on in the industry for both the mailing and the parcel shipping side and we try to bring that information to you.
