Peter Sayki is the president of SICAM Corp, a manufacturing company based in Hillsborough, NJ. With a deep background in engineering, product development, and manufacturing, Peter co-founded SICAM in 1990 alongside his business partner, who manages the company’s operations. Under Peter’s leadership, SICAM has grown into a key player in the local manufacturing community, recently being honored as one of New Jersey’s top companies during Manufacturing Day, an initiative supported by the New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Program (NJMEP). Specializing in innovative technology and solutions, Peter is passionate about advancing the manufacturing industry and contributing to its ongoing evolution in New Jersey.
Chris Santomassimo: I’m your host, Chris Santomassimo. I’m here today with a new friend, Peter Sayki. Pete is the the president of SICAM Corp, which is in Hillsborough, NJ, right in our backyard. So welcome to the podcast.

Chris Santomassimo: Thank you. So I got introduced to Pete recently thanks to the fact that SICAM was honored as one of the, the award finalists, some of the best companies in New Jersey in manufacturing day, which is hosted by the the NJMEP, the New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Program, which supports manufacturing companies in New Jersey. So I, I’m always excited to talk to folks at companies like SICAM because of all the, the interesting technology and the history behind the company. So I wanted to introduce that to our listeners. So take it away, Pete, talk to talk a little bit about SICAM and when you started it and what you’re up to today.
Peter Sayki: Sure. Well, SICAM is located in Hillsborough, NJ. We started it back in 1990, just, you know, some time ago. And the reason that we started it was my partner and I, I’ve the partner who runs operations and I do the sales and marketing side of it. We were working for another company for many years in engineering and product development and manufacturing. So we have extensive experience in that.
